The historic MJ Hogan grain elevator in Seneca,IL. is the last of its kind along the Illinois and Michigan Canal in northern Illinois. The historic canal was instrumental in the development of the city of Chicago as a major shipping and manufacturing center. It was once lined with elevators like this one,as well as other industries who used the canal to ship their good to Chicago,and then the rest of the world...
