A second Zeppelin, rather temporary endowed with a Caterpillar joined venture add, crossing over the yard. I think it had to do with some trade fair, on the bottom it has a hall location on it.... Zeppelin company is the retailer for Caterpiller building maschnerie from Peoria IL since a long time and Peoria is a sister city of Friedrichshafen.

Thanks SO much for joining the group adding your airship photos!!! I'm looking forward to seeing more. I'm big fan of airships and Zeppelins. And Led Zeppelin too. ;-)

I have a real led zeppelin! It was on a hangar open house event, some metal forming company casted tiny massive zeppelins and gifted onlookers with very heavy little gray ornaments hangiing snout down. It looks just like the Los Angeles during her famous headstand. ;o)

Very cool. My grandmother was a small girl in London and remembered when the Zeppelins flew over on a bombing mission. So much better to see the technology put to a peaceful use. Great photo.

Today's Zeppelins are tiny compared to those of old and they are used for all kinds of stuff from air quality measuring to wedding chapel, but to run as advertising billboard with that hull seems always the underlying way to make maximal money with it, sometimes against any esthetic considerations. In some ways that is not exactly peaceful either.
