Saint Niklas Chapel, Burgusio / Sankt Nikolaus Kapelle, Burgeis
Alas it was not open, as it is famous for some 13th century wall paintings. It is documented to have been built in 1199 / Leider war soe nicht offen, denn die Wandbilder aus dem 13ten Jahrhundert drinnen sollen interessant sein. Sie wurde 1199 gebaut und geweiht.

Wonderful old church. Would love to have seen your photos of the inside, but that is not to be.

We got into none of the better known romanesque chapels of the area. Their times for individuals and couples not traveling with a specialized bus of curch crawlers doingnothing else and having guides that arranged something are limited to one guided tour each week. It was on an other weekday. But we went to the parish church which was open and saw many other interesting places in the Malles area.
I dont think I would have gotten pics inside anyway. Chapels that are designated heritage sites with well preseved wall paintings that old rarely permit inside snapshots by siteseers.
