Fireworks here last night since the Seahawks (American football) won the superbowl. Nice shot.

Well, if you are a fan of those, congratulations... I never understood rugby/football, just looks like bunch of guys piling up on each other to me. :)
I rather prefer soccer, of course Bavaria Munich!!!! :D

In Germany, big fireworks by specialists are usually held in summer during street fairs, or in some places also on New Year night, in hopes people will not start their own in high density centres or historically protected halftimbered old towns, as the enforcement where it is outlawed usually is difficult unless there is a impressive free show offered somewhere nearby.

This fireworks I took pics off where mostly things bought either by relatives or by the nice folks who keep the inn where we where allowed to have our private family event until midnight (the later must have invested a lot into greeting the year, I rarely get that near to groups with so many elaborate rocket magazines).

I myself bought the silly indoor-safe table firework thingie making music and a smal package star sparklers for an early start, as the hubby of Karl's sister had a big birthday on Dec 31 and we had the vague idea to start with this near-noiseless kiddie safe stuff a few minutes early as his birthday ends at the legal start of the bigger fireworks already...
