Well, had to take a pic of a blue flower up there, and that was what I could find / Nun ja, da oben musste ich wohl ein Bild von einer blauen Blume machen, und das war die einzige, die ich finden konnte.

Lovely shot, but this is listed as an invasive plant here in Washington - spreads madly in drier areas.

I know.... that was to expect at it's hardy caracteristics, that as a improved frontyard flower of the settlers it would not stay confined to the intentional culture but revert back as weed and spread.. It's like all the Canadian Goldenrod and California Poppy, assorted Oenothera and some other new world stuff here. Most folks think a lot of wayside flowers are native as they grow wild everywhere since they remember, but in the end we have our unique parallel habitats well mixed up and made similar by now.
