Re-opening 1 April after refurbishment, the Prince Albert, Peckham

Re-opening 1 April after refurbishment, the Prince Albert, Peckham
This has been expected since late last year. The Albert has been more of a locals pub, which though characterful could have done with a few tweaks. It was run by Geraldine Musgreaves who previously ran the now closed Hope on Rye Lane (closed in 2010 and is now a betting shop). Looking inside the now empty Prince Albert one can see some grey painted woodwork and white tiles. Beer wise it used to serve ocassional real ales - mainly Trumans, lets hope the new incarnation can also see beyond just keg beers.

The pub now has a full social media platform. Looking at its Twitter account the pub will reopen on Tuesday 1 April. There is also a website showing how the pub used to look www.princealbertpub.com
