No it's not Christmas just yet! There's still sunblock at the beach (or in my case fishing) and falling leaves before then. But since I finished this one, I figured I'd post it now. Hope you like it! This 300 piece puzzle is by Bits and Pieces from beautiful art by Nancy Wernersbach.

Closeup of Eastern Poison Ivy Toxicodendron radicans, shot at the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge in Queens, New York City. This special place is part of the Jamaica Bay Unit of Gateway National Recreation Area. The active compound in the plant's sap that causes the often virulent skin reaction, including rash and blistering is called urushiol. Center detail shot of a huge oil painting we've had hanging in our living room for years. The artist's signed it as "F.Whitman." Joni and I have always loved this painting, which takes up almost a third of the wall. For those of you in warmer climates, I thought it might help cool you off!

Day Lilies and buds growing outside of the Best Western Intercourse Village Inn in Intercourse, Pennsylvania, outside of Lancaster.

A Draft Horse, photographed in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania a few years ago. I got lucky with the shallow depth of field, giving the image a mild "3-D" effect." Hope you like it! Maybe someone can help me confirm "draft horse or mule." The very clear reflection in his/her right eye really stands out.

The oil on canvas painting "The Peaceable Kingdom," by American artist Edward Hicks (1780-1849). Hicks was inspired by a passage from the Book of Isaiah. On display in the Brooklyn Museum in New York City.

The beautiful Floribunda Rose variety "Pomponella Fairy Tale," introduced in 2005, and shot at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in New York City. I dedicate this natural floral bouquet to my beloved Joni and my Bountiful Love for her.

The April sun shining above the Garden of Faith monument in Pinelawn Cemetery on Long Island. I made my first visit this week to my beloved Joni's grave with my best friends. They really helped me to get through the difficult experience.
