"Welcome Home to Lambertville"

"Welcome Home to Lambertville"
The completed 300 piece jigsaw puzzle "Welcome Home to Lambertville," artwork by Ruane Manning and manufactured by Bits and Pieces. The train station depicted beside the canal is now the Lambertville Inn Restaurant. My late wife and I enjoyed many a tasty lunch there. We even stayed overnight once in their hotel, just across the canal and parking lot. This site is directly on the shore of the Delaware River, and you can drive or walk into Pennsylvania across the adjacent bridge, while watching the rowers, fishermen and boaters on the water..

A wonderful railway image of yesteryear, a different sort of puzzle John why do many North American place names end in 'ville'

Thanks for your kind visit, Peter. And to answer your question, I guess it's shorter than saying "The Village of Lambert." But sometimes regional English usage can be a mystery!

They are. I'm feeling better physically from the Covid, but my heart is still breaking for my Joni. I'm happy that you enjoyed the puzzle shot. The setting was a very special place for us.
