Post Storm Panorama (Explored)

Post Storm Panorama (Explored)
(Explored January 29, 2016) I guess I woke up feeling "artsy" after yesterday's blizzard. At our house we probably got around 28 inches (71 cm.) of snow, based on snow totals at JFK Airport (31.5") and Williamsburg, Brooklyn (27"). This is the second highest recorded snowfall total for Manhattan's Central Park (26.8 inches), since recording started in 1869. We missed tying for #1 by only 0.1 inches, and breaking the record by 0.2"!

This is a small bit of back lit ice in our kitchen window, with a blurry view of some houses across the street. The camera was set on macro. In Photoshop Elements 13, I blacked out the window frame, sky, and the holes in the ice. This ice was gone ten minutes later. Hope you like it.

SO MUCH SNOW!!!!! Incredible!!

I very much enjoyed learning about your picture and what you did! Isn't it fun to play?! :) I find these experiments to be like falling down Alice's rabbit hole...one thing leads to another, and then something else, and oh that's cool let's try this...and soon an hour is gone but wow, what fun that was!! :D

*big hugs* Have I mentioned lately how nice it is to be seeing your photography again?! :D (and your wife's of course!) :D
