Dining 1st class

Dining 1st class
An example of the coaches I build in close-up. This is a London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) 1st Class Restaurant Car from the 1930s with the kitchen to the left and the dining area to the right. Some of the places have been set, others are being cleared after diners have finished their meal. Behind the table lamp there's a vase of flowers on each table. You'll have to get very close to see the plates and cutlery!

I have a website about modelling and historically related stuff:

As well as a lot of skill, you must have enormous patience to get such intricate details into your models. This one is a delight!

Thanks, Phil, patience is top of the list (and ability to burn something that's not right and do it again. Take the single bolster wagons, one built by my son when he was 14). The other thing about catering carriages is that you can have fun with the interior, and no two are ever alike. :)
