Photographed in "Hard Platts" woods (which is about 500 metres from my home) on a rainy day. The rain usually helps to "saturate" colours in photographs and to bring out the different shades when a single colour dominates the image. Photographed in Barrowford, North-west England today with a Sony RX100 camera. This was my first long walk (about 4 miles) since the "lockdown" began and I saw many other people taking advantage of the hot & sunny weather. HFF to everyone....stay safe.

The overflow ramp at Walverden reservoir near the town of Nelson in Lancashire, North-West England. Heavy rain caused the reservoir to overflow and the "tiles" below the ramp have been lifted by the force of the water. The concrete blocks on the ramp are supposed to stop this from happening by breaking-up the water flow. Camera: Sony RX100 Software: Nikon Capture NX2.
