King of the hill.

King of the hill.
One from my archives....a shot of a young bullock taken with my first digital SLR near the village of Roughlee in Pendle district, North-West England. In the distance is Blacko Tower, a well-known local Victorian "folly". Processed with Nikon Capture NX2 software.

Jeff Farley, Martine, ColRam, Ecobird and 6 other people have particularly liked this photo

Not a bad hill in the distance..(!)

Thanks Joan....I'm not sure what the hill is called (or even if it has a name) but the tower is Stansfield Tower, known locally as "Blacko Tower" located near the village of Blacko. The tower is a Victorian "folly" which is often wrongly believed to be the "Malkin Tower" described in the novel "Mist Over Pendle" by Robert Neill (Published in the USA as "The Elegant Witch").
