Copal-MX Leaf Shutter (21)

Copal-MX Leaf Shutter (21)
Copal-MX, Japanese Leaf Shutter. Production year around 1955.
As used on the Fodorflex and Beautyflex D TLR's

The 4 Screws which keep the Shutter Housing halves together stuck on a piece of masking tape.
Observe that they all are different.

I must have a look later on when re-installing if nothing went wrong on the other side of Screw 3. As you can see it is very long and has a special shape. Probably an anchor post for a spring.

This image is intended as a guide for the more experienced camera service man. If you have no experience in camera repair please do yourself a favor and send your camera to a professional service shop. It would be a pity to lose a vintage camera in a failed repair attempt.
