And while this camera seems to lack any means of an easy Vertical alignment of the Rangefinder there is a provision for a kind of Horizontal alignment.

It's on the Rangefinder Knob and accessable without opening up the camera.

The rim of the Knob has 3 setscrews. By loosening these screws it is possible
to rotate the outer part of the Knob which has the pointer on it (see green arrow)
while the inner part (see red arrow) stays in place.
