On the Trail

On the Trail
Still in the valley of the Gartempe river, even after 150 years, there is still evidence of the work involved in building the viaduct, as here, where the granite has been quarried from the surface. The intervening years have softened what must have been an almost industrial landscape, and the area is now designated a Natura 2000 site because of it's diverse flora and fauna.

1983 Mamiya ZM, f2.5/28mm Tamron lens, x2 yellow filter. Polypan F in Thornton's Two Bath, 4+4mins@21C. Scanned on Epson V500@2400dpi.
