Lantana cleared on our western fenceline, at last!

Lantana cleared on our western fenceline, at last!
Now the question is. . . . what are our neighbours going to do to avoid weeds filling it once more? This shot is taken from the big teak tree. This is the first time I've seen the lay of the land there for about 35 years. . . . . . photo KR

I see that it is under the power line. Makes it difficult if you can't create a canopy. Otherwise I expect it is a lot of work.

The lines cut right across my block. I've concentrated on planting low-growing species in that strip, and in the places where I began it nearly 10 years ago, it is filled in nicely. And, yes, it is a lot of work to remove the weeds (and the tall species) until the shorter natives fill in.

This gives a good idea of the extent of your land - I'm impressed!

All that's in the shot is the neighbour's. I was standing on my western border. My place is too divided by gullies to get a wide view of it that shows what I have. Perhaps next time Danya is home I'll get him to use his wide angle lens to see what he can manage, but most of it is also covered by trees.
