It appears that winemaking has progressed a long way from the days of crushing the grapes by foot-stomping!

This photo was taken by a Yashica-D TLR medium format film camera and Yashikor 1:3.5 f=80mm lens with a Toshiba 49mm SL-1A filter using Kodak Portra 160 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered in Photoshop.

Marco F. Delminho, Trudy Tuinstra, HH-volker 2, Ecobird and 3 other people have particularly liked this photo

Now that most of the grapes have been picked, the production of wine is in full-swing.

Most of the grapes in my garden have been picked too. By birds so nothing is left for production ;)

The first stage of juice fermentation takes place in tanks before the wine is placed in barrels for aging and storage in a cool place.

A neat set up. I guess the benches are for the workforce on their breaks - and not for use after the wine tasting!! Well captured Scott
