Variations
Plants convert sunlight into life-sustaining food through a chemical process involving chlorophyl, water and various mineral nutrients. The infrared emission signature of each species of plant is unique for that variety as can be seen in this photo of a mixed forest.
What a barren and lifeless place Earth would be without the energy supplied by the sun in it’s different light wavelengths.

This photo was taken by a Hasselblad 500C medium format film camera and Carl Zeiss Distagon 1:4 f=50mm T* lens with a Hoya Infrared R72 ø67 filter using Konica Infrared 750 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
