The distant horizon seems endless. My curiosity yearns to see what is beyond.

This photo was taken by an Asahi Pentax 6 X 7 medium format film camera and SMC PENTAX 67 1:4 45mm lens with a Pentax 67 82ø Y48(Y2) SMC filter using Ilford Delta 400 Pro film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

The previous night it was breezy and 4ºC where we camped. This is the "High Mojave Desert", about 1,350m above sea level. The Spring daytime temperatures are mild (18 -20ºC). Summer temperatures, however, reach 35ºC +
It is all about the altitude in this part of the world.
