Where Dolphins Frolic

Where Dolphins Frolic
The highlands of the New York Mountains of Mojave National Preserve are the only known habitat of terrestrial cetaceans, including the elusive mojave rock dolphin. Over the past few years I have returned to this secret remote area in my study of of these unique creatures. Like their marine cousins, mojave rock dolphins are very intelligent and playful. Skeptical cetologists have branded me as a quack and charlatan seeking attention, so I have taken photographs to back up my research and ongoing studies.

This photo was taken by a Hasselblad 500C medium format film camera with a Carl Zeiss Planar 1:2.8 f=80mm lens and Kowa L-1A ø67 filter + adapter using CineStill 50D film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
