The Trail of Enchantment

The Trail of Enchantment
From Sunset Point in Bryce Canyon National Park, a pathway leads adventurers through a fantasyland of colorful rock formations.

This photo was taken with an Asahi Pentax 6 X 7 medium format film camera with a Super-Takumar/6X7 1:2.4/105mm lens and Kowa L1A ø67 filter using Kodak Ektar 100 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

"A hell of a place to lose a cow“ - said Ebenezer Bryce, but Tacheles found a "short-snouted elephant shrew" ;-))). 30 years ago I made a hike with my son along this path, Scott. It was unforgettable for me!

Cows, elephant shrews and countless other entities hide in the outlandish geological formations of Bryce Canyon. Many other protected Federal and State parks are also scattered nearby, as well. What a wonderful place to visit!
