San Francisco Columbarium

San Francisco Columbarium
Constructed in 1898 by Bernard J.S. Cahill as part of the Odd Fellows Cemetery, The Columbarium is a beautiful example of neo-classical architecture.

This photo was taken by a Kowa/SIX medium format film camera using Fuji Reala 100 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

I wasn't born there perhaps I'll die there
There's no place left to go, San Francisco.

Many people reside here for eternity. After the Great Earthquake of 1906 all cemeteries were relocated outside of town as part of the redesign of the new San Francisco. This is all that remains in the city - we will save a spot for Mr. Burdon.
