Maacama Creek

Maacama Creek
No cascading falls - just a peaceful wooded and gentle creek.

This photo was shot from a Zenza Bronica S2 medium format film camera using Kodak Portra 400 film with a Nikkor-H 1:3.5 f=5 cm lens, scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 Photo scanner and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

An inviting quiet spot, suitable for nature appreciation. I'd certainly would like to get myself lost there...

In fact, I lost myself in the beauty of the local rural countryside while trying to find a remote address in my daily work.
Luckily, I shot my way out of this situation and found the path to my destination.

Mother nature don't need not be spectacular.
It looks like here in Westphalia, where I am at home.

This kind of nature, here as well as Westphalia, calms the soul.
