Mitla - Oaxaca

Mitla - Oaxaca
An excursion to the ancient ruins of Mitla was one of the highlights of a trip that I took many years ago to Oaxaca, México.
The more 'modern' structure in the background is the Iglesia San Pablo de Mitla.
Mitla Information

This photo was shot from a Yashica ELECTRO 35CC and scanned by an HP Scanjet G4050 from a Kodak 135 negative, digitally rendered by Photoshop.

13 years younger negatives can really seem like just so much crispier, with so much better color and quality....Maybe you could consider coming down to Mexico for some updates in 120 film!

These negatives were stored in good conditions. When I see them I am grateful that I had the Yashica 35CC but now dream of how much better a medium format camera would have served me! I would love to return to Oaxaca and other places in México for a refresher course in traveling (with plenty of film, of course).
