Bridge over troubled waters

Bridge over troubled waters
We have had over 150ml (6 inches I think) of rain this weekend and the river is up a bit...lol Usually it is contained in the narrow channel on the extreme left of this shot...Luckily it has about 4 metres to go before we get any flooding!! Makes for a bit of excitement in town though...people are panic buying to the extreme!!!
The Sunday Challenge: Song lyrics.
GIDDAY everyone...Just popped in for a visit....Had a cake free/bowls free weekend so had time for photos!! Woohoo. Was so nice to get the camera out and to spend a bit of time on the puter!!!!!

Oh yeah....also today we got the final sheets of corrugated iron and flashing on the new verandah...Hopefully it is now totally waterproof!!

Angela Parker, Dynamo, Robert Wilson, PETERS DREAMS have particularly liked this photo

I saved my pocket money to buy this and my mum said it was a waste of money, once it had left the charts it would be forgotten. How wrong can you be. A TRUE classic and a worrying but apt photo go with it.

yeah, this song didn't represent my finest tonsural hour at a drunken karaoke in 1995! some of the audience that night are still suffering post-traumatic stress disorder.

well bron, them there's very short trees or that's a very swollen river! oh, and that lorry is quite ridiculous. there's three bits to the bloomin great lumbering thing. in my car i would need a free 10 minutes just to overtake it :-)

I never forgave Simon and Garfunkel for keeping Led Zeppelin II down to No 2 album of 1969 with this album, and I'm not going to now! That's certainly troubling water, though!
