i used to take portraits professionally (still would if i had the where with all), and while i would do color portraits for people, i always worked to convince them that they wanted b&w.

... that look !! -- captivating ... B&W/lighting so well done ... a gorgeous portrait ...

thanks so much - i do still get that look from him on occassion (but not in front of the camera - ha!). i have always done natural light photography for portraits (and really all my photos) - so i'm glad you like how this is set up for light - i try to pay very close attention to it.
