A lovely image Laura I like the frame I'm not sure about the top if you want to balance the angle of the trees I think it could be cropped just to leave the edge in the right hand corner , but it your photo !!!! enjoy your week

thanks Peter. this is definitely not a regular nature photo. i understand people's desire to not have the top angle. but i see it as adding abstraction to the photo as well as the color that when i crop it seems plain. it also helps my eye continue to move around the photo. i think, like cilantro, it is an acquired taste, ha!

I really like the tone and light, and yes the composition. I am drawn to the angles in the composition and to the elements towards abstraction. The top of the composition I like as much for its juxtaposition against the trees detaching the viewer and underlining that we are an observer of this scene.
