Wonderful! I would never have noticed this, and even if I had, I would never have thought it was a subject for a picture :(

you are so sweet. i'm a bit obsessed with how in my city plants seem to succeed at growing in the most amazing places. plus i like to see the bits and pieces of things instead of the whole.

no worries about your eye - you find wonderful things to photograph - we can't photogaph everything, where would we put them all?

This fence will lose if neglected. Fine shot.

thanks, Andy. i am definitely betting on the plants for this fence, but it may be awhile as the humans seem to do at least some upkeep once in a while. i will be adding more photos of this fence soon - different parts with their own life.

The ivy will soon have that covered, I have to admit it's not a plant I like
6 years ago.
raingirl club has replied to Peter Castell club
i like the way it looks sometimes in photos, but i agree with you about the plant mostly. around here if left unattended it will grow all the way up our fir trees and literally choke them to death. we continually have to pull it out of yards and forests.

hope it doesn't spoil the photo for you.

are you referring to the words in the upper right corner? i love those old signs. should probably pull out a long lens and go photograph them more.

... a lovely photograph ... lighting and focus and receding fence boards ...

... upward-looking angle is great: well conceived ...
