End's well, all's well. However, the method of transportation is quite unusual. ;)

Its funny to see the traditional transport of a boat taking the car to its resting place.

I agree Roger, it's all very well seeing the pretty boats on the water but good to see a working boat now and again.

Thanks Phil, it was a surprise find among the other boats along the canal.

Well spotted; definitely a question of balance, presumably no tunnels on the route.

Thanks Roger. I think these 2 skips of scrap will be transferred onto a much bigger barge which is just out of shot. At the moment the bigger one is empty but listing to one side as its got a lot of water in it that needs pumping out. I'm guessing that the scrap then gets moved towards London where there might be a convenient recycling plant close to the canal.

Love the title and the midget skips. The car doesn't look like a mini though.

Thanks Jean. I'm not sure what make of car this is. It's kind of ironic that the modern mode of transport (the car) is being taken to its resting/recycling place by the older transport system.

Clever title and an amusing image ...plus the barge appears to be named after you! ;-)

Thanks Polyrus, yes I'm honoured that they named a barge after me even if it's one for hauling rubbish away.

Thanks Dinesh. Mrs Bucket wouldn't like the look of this boat, its not her type of yacht.
