Galiot: Kleiner Handelssegler aus dem Nord- und Ostseeraum, meistens als Gaffelketsch getakelt. Seit dem 17. Jahrhundert bekannt.
Die abgebildete Galiot stammt aus dem frühen 20. Jahrhundert.

Der Name ist nicht "authentisch", sondern aut ein bestimmtes Trio gemünzt, das Schiff heißt in Wirklichkeit "Køgen" (immerhin mit schrägem "ø").
