An icon, a picture of a place of worship, if your religion was water.

Thanks Steve - a pretty good religion to have, if you had to have one.

Good photos to be had in that area! I used to go on walking weekends there with the uni climbing club. We co-incided our visits with the Hay-On-Wye book fair. One of our group today owns a book shop there.

Doesn’t everybody own a bookshop in Hay? I found the Poetry Bookshop inconveniently closed when I went there, but I recognise that all good second hand bookshops close at the whim of their eccentric owners.

Do you remember the Hay slogan "Balls to Walls, eat Hay national icecream" emblazoned on T-shirts there?

Steve Bucknell has replied to Judith Jannetta
It’s a while since I went there, but I’d certainly give hay flavoured ice cream a try.

Just at the moment, Hay really is... mostly hay. It is a bit "artisan falafel bistro" for my liking over there - I'm happier with the plebs here in Brecon :)
