At the back, is an old White machine we picked up at a garage sale for $25. Works beautifully for straight and zigzag stitching.
There is also my Necchi Lelia machine which is good for heavier weight fabrics like denim.
My design board conceals metal shelving, holding bins of fabric (mostly in the form of old clothes!), craft supplies and yarns. I just push it out of the way when I need to, as it's light insulation boards taped together, with batting on top.
My old drafting table is great for cutting on. Below and to the side of it, are bins of WIP's, lace, ribbon, etc for sewing with.
There is a white pantry beside them (not shown), that stores books and magazines.

It's taken awhile to get to this set-up, as I keep moving things around. But I'm pretty happy with how things work this way, so think I'll be keeping it for awhile.

Thank you! I still can't believe this room is finished and for my sewing. It used to be just storage of paint and tools, with a workbench and cement floor!
