Here we go with a work-in-progress repair and use Kodak Model B using, in this instance, an ILEX process lens of 8¼" focal length in a barrel. My first exposure with this camera and my first exposure on HP5 Plus in sheet film, it could be better but at least I now know what the lens does when it is wide open...

You are so right Marta. I will be trying to do this again sometime in future... I had the lens wide open, it's a process lens so it would have been better stopped down. There is a lot of fall off...

I have a beautiful Kodak Model 3A camera (one with red bellows) but I haven't tried to use it yet ;)

I'm impressed how well the lens handles the verticals in this shot. There's some softness but if you wanted a sharp image you have lots of lenses that can do that already I'm sure. I like the mood this lens creates. Truly a shot with old glass and I like the result.
BTW: Orvis... in Bakewell I'm surprised but not surprised. Season opened here Saturday 26/4, it was cold and slow. Saw 10 paraleptophlebia, 1 ephemerella subvaria and 0 salmo trutta.
