The classic Echinacea shot

The classic Echinacea shot
Many people have a very similar photo on their photostream : ) Taken at the Reader Rock Garden on 4 September 2013. The sun is shining so far this morning and it's a balmy 5C and supposed to reach 10C this afternoon. Crazy, but we'll take it! There are predictions that there will be more flooding this year, after all the snow that we have had. Not good news, especially to all those who were affected by last June's Alberta Flood of the Century.

MGN-Marcel, LeapFrog, Eva Malotova, Puzzler4879 Happy Thanksgiving! have particularly liked this photo

Simply magnificent, Anne! I love the wide orange abdominal stripe. Nice composition.

True enough, though in my case, I don't know if I have any shots with a bee in them. I do enjoy seeing my echinacea flowers every year and generally take a few shots of them. I hope the Reader Rock Garden will be Okay and not get flooded this spring. It probably will depend on how fast a melt you get. If the melt is gradual enough, there may not be flooding.

We have been at plus 5C all day and all last night too - it's been very nice, though I think the temperature will be dropping tonight as a cold front moves in.
