Purple grasses bokeh

Purple grasses bokeh
I have posted a few photos of Wilson's Snipes, but I liked the purple grasses in the background in this one, that I took just yesterday, 16 July 2013, SW of Calgary. I love seeing these impressive birds with their beautiful feather patterns and that long beak. Love it when they are perched on a fence post rather than half hidden in the grass.

Yesterday evening, I successfully installed Norton Security Internet. From the moment I turned on my computer this morning, I have had so many computer problems - everything from not being able to copy and paste picture files (though I've managed to make that work now), couldn't empty the Recycle box. I keep getting the message "pages have become unresponsive". Everything is almost unusable (slower than ever!). No idea what's happening - but I'm not enjoying this one bit, ha!.

These are lovely birds, and I do agree, they look best on a fence pole! The purple grasses do indeed make for a beautiful bokeh in this case as well!

I'm sorry about your computer. I'm glad to say that I don't use Norton. I have a Mac which are supposedly virus free. I have had this computer for well over 2 years and I have never installed any antivirus software on it. So far, so good....

Haha ... a pudgy little one Anne ... well detailed and well captured!!

It depends on the version you loaded in Anne ... if this works in the background ... the Norton chews up a lot of cycles ... I would recommend to install maximum RAM on your PC ... this should speed it up ... plus constantly clear you cache and cookies (once per week) ... I run a free version of Uniblue Registry Booster and Uniblue SpeedUpMyPC (once per week) to clean out at the PC junk file (once per week) and this keeps my 9 year old IBM PC running very fast ... I do not use IE ... it is far too slow and chews up memory and cycles ... I use Chrome and FF ... twice too 3X as fast as IE ... in fact I have removed all IE's from my PC .. it takes up far too much space. For a 9 year old PC this old IBM runs pretty fast ... BTW I have Norton 360 and it is a larger version and have no problems with PC speed ...
