Flashy and fun, the Mach 3

Flashy and fun, the Mach 3
Yesterday, my youngest daughter and I went down to the Stampede Grounds, to soak in the feel of the annual "Greatest Show on Earth". We don't spend long down there, but we always look forward to the the Indian Village, Mini-Donuts and the baby pigs, lol. This photo is a quick shot of the bright sign for one of the new Midway rides, called the Mach 3. To see what you missed, click on the link below : )

Ha, good find and well taken ... since I was a kid, I use to go to the CNE for the mini-donuts ... I worked at the CNE for a few years to pay for my education ... but I have not gone to the CNE for a few decades ... as I have shied away from the crowds a long time ago ... maybe one day, I will venture there to get me some of those donuts ... LOL

Thanks, Art! Those donuts taste SO good : ) Cinammon (or is it Cinnamon, ha?) and sugar, mmm .... I definitely don't like the crowds - anywhere. Normally, I don't go on buses or the C-train, so that was an experience, with everywhere and everything packed!

A previously posted photo - not sure that these were made by the "original" people/sellers, though, or a newer company.

Mmmm ... Mini-Donuts

Haha ... you are so cruel ... LOL and yum ...

Tiny Tom's Mini Donuts have been at the CNE since 1959 and are still there ... the good old days before Tim Horton's ... LOL

The Calgary Stampede has 3 Donut Vendors, but do not know their history other than "Those Little Donuts (1967) ... aka Tom Thumb Donuts)" ...

Oh, Art, I didn't MEAN to torture you, lol!! (Yeah, right!). I seem to remember my daughter telling me after she had seen this photo, that those weren't the "real" mini-donuts. At the time I bought them, I didn't realize there was more than one kind.
