The Millers Arms

The Millers Arms
This pub/hotel is situated opposite the Abbot Mill site. I see above the door it claims to be "An Historic Coaching Inn". Maybe, but so far as I know this Inn was originally built in 1826 to serve local mill workers.

Very nice scene, Doug. Anything to get a customer, right?

Nice looking building and has been well preserved by the look of it. Well taken Doug.

And it's nice that such an old brewery is still going strong. Shepherd Neame's brewery is in Faversham where I worked for a while over 20 years ago. Not all their pubs were as nice as this one. Not that I tried them all ;-)

Thanks for visiting and commenting Keith.
