Christianshavn

Christianshavn
The canals of Christianhavn , lined with houseboats and pretty 17th century houses, reminded me of Amsterdam. We found this area a lot quieter than Nyhavn. There were a few bars with a couple of tables outside but nothing like the variety of outdoor bars and restaurants in Nyhavn. But we found a floating bar for a welcome sit down and a tipple :-)

William Sutherland, Eunice Perkins, Don Sutherland, Christina Sonnenschein and 2 other people have particularly liked this photo

A place of differences, used to be a place nobody wanted to live in, later it became very popular with the wealthy.
