Sixth-plate hand-tinted tintype in daguerreotype case. Acquired from a second hand tractor dealer who had found the photo in a furniture abandoned in a farm barn, on the outskirts of the world-renowned municipality of Paris, Texas.

And I would have guessed this to be mid 1860s.
Apparently Paris, Texas was not the fashion hub that the other Paris was.
