Fredericksborg Castle, Hillerod, Denmark
Fredericksborg Castle was built by Frederik II around 1560 and was later rebuilt by Christian IV. The Castle was heavily damaged in a fire in 1859. It was restored and turned into a museum. The Fredericksborg Castle Chapel was the only structure not damaged in the fire. The castle houses a large collection of portraits, historical paintings and fine furnishings from the last 5 centuries.
