Interior of the roombox

Interior of the roombox
The inside walls were lined with separate pieces of corrugated cardboard to make them smooth and then painted light brown.

The floor is pieced together from remnants of vinyl flooring with wood pattern.

The baseboards are just strips of thick cardboard painted off-white.

I made the interior quite neutral looking so that I could use if for different occupants and change the over all look with furniture, rugs and pictures on the walls.

As this is an experimental project I have been trying to use miscellaneous leftover materials as far as possible. So far I have only bought a sheed of foam board for the floor (and the roof) because I though a floor made of corrugated cardboard would probably be crooked and make the whole building wobbly. And I have bought some glue, of course. I may need to buy something for the furniture, though, at least more paint.
