Single Chicory Stamen with Pollen Granules

Single Chicory Stamen with Pollen Granules
2 pictures and 1 note above!

When I took both Chicory pictures, there was a slight breeze and I was holding the camera and used manual focus. All of these factors have impacted the clarity of this picture, but still, it's not bad. It is amazing working with such a razor-thin dof. I would move my camera slightly closer and then backwards, taking a picture as soon as I felt the focus was right. VERY HARD to keep anything in focus for more than a split second!

It is amazing how much 1mm makes to the focus at such high magnification. That is an exceptional skill you have there. Stunning image by the way.

Beautiful. In the thumbnail like a pair of scissors. A gorgeous flower. Very many years since I grew it.

A lovely shot, definitely looks sugar coated. And yes, playing with near-zero DOF is an interesting process. :)

hier in der Stadt wuchern sie im Grünstreifen zwischen Straße und Fahrradweg bzw Fußweg. so langsam verblühen sie, aber es ist dann immer eine blaue Pracht. Der deutsche Name Wegwarte passt da so gut. Weg und warte (way and wait)
