Miss Poppy's Stylish Hairdo

Isn't it fun to take pictures like this?! I love top-down views of buds and in this case, a new poppy seed pod. Abstract nature images have always fascinated me, and the bokeh from the shallow dof can really add a lot to the picture. In this case, the tall stem, covered with bristly hairs, falls away into blur far below, ending in the leaves. If you move your mouse curser over the picture, there are some fun top-down pictures of buds that I've photographed which I thought turned out nicely! :)
