Find of Yesterday: Tiny Red Frilly Flowers? Nope! :D

Find of Yesterday: Tiny Red Frilly Flowers? Nope! :D
Yesterday I really NEEDED to do a collage to represent my day, but if I could show only one picture that didn't have to do with the burn, THIS would have been my pick!

I was wandering around behind our shop, carefully looking for anything new and tiny, when I saw a flash of fuzzy red something. Staring nose-close, I found myself looking at what appears to be a very tiny Indian Paintbrush of some sort. It's quite different though, so I can't be certain what kind of flower it is. To me, they look a bit like frilly tulips! I was so incredibly happy with this picture, it shows all the magic that I felt when I discovered these precious little blossoms!

Update Discovery!
I found out what these are! They are the leftover sepals and growing seeds of Seablush! They sure do look like flowers though, don't they?! :D

RHH, Ruesterstaude, Marika's have particularly liked this photo

Wie groß ist sie denn, liebe Janet? Du hast sie jedenfalls so aus der Nähe wunderschön freigestellt!

You should be happy with this photo, Janet. It's stunning. I have no idea what the flowers are, though I intend to try and ID them but the composition of the photo is perfect with that exquisite depth of field and the detail of the flowers.

We have had rain, rain and more rain and I'm a bit weary of it, especially since we are still waiting for water to be turned back on. Having no water rather limits what we can do in the house and the rain keeps us out of the yard.

We did actually have water from about 6-9 last night and are supposed to have it for a couple of hours this morning, long enough to flush the toilet, wash the dirty dishes and get a shower. Nancy has some water in jugs as well.

With all our rain it doesn't look like we'll get our weekly hike. Have to cook tonight for son-in-law Dave's birthday and tomorrow is supposed to be more rain. They are coming for dinner this evening since we are no longer staying away from them.

Doing some cedar plank sockeye with blueberry-grapefruit salsa and grilled asparagus and grilled Romaine. It's all keto, so you guys could come, too. Neal would if he was allowed out but that's still not possible.

Computer games: used to play some but hardly bother any more. I remember spending hours on Tomb Raider. Used to play the early text games on bulletin boards, too, but I seem to have less interest in them now.

My parents have had their rules relaxed a bit and dad tried to get the car out yesterday but had an accident. My brothers are going there to demand the keys but he is not going to be happy about that - thinks he's still a good driver.

Guess that's all. Have a great day.
