GOWLAND TOD HILLS

GOWLAND TOD HILLS
This is a hiking area called the Gowland Tod Provincial Park, near Victoria, BC Canada. The park runs alongside Finlayson Arm, a long body of sea water that will lead you to the Pacific Ocean and it's a great area for scuba diving and fishing. There are miles of trails here and lots of good hills for a great workout.

John, this is so beautiful. Layers of interest here, from the hiker to the fore and then background with the lake and mountains beyond. Wonderful to read about too. Fabulous!! :) Awesome natural frame as well, great color palette, wonderful depth all around. Someone might say you're a pro... :D

Thanks everyone for your comments. Glen, you know how good we have it. Ani, you can do just that, for days even. Janet, I don't think you missed anything. Ruthanne, that's dog spelled backwards.

Hey, thanks for the clarification about the water being an inlet, not a lake! I would have never known if you'd not told me. Really beautiful...and I would LOVE to go scuba diving there, what fun that would be!!
