Emu crossing the rail line

Emu crossing the rail line
I've neglected panoramas for a while, so last weekend's trip with Kathy and John to mid-western NSW provided an opportunity to make amends. This actually shows an emu crossing the railway but even on the large size provided (right click/pick a size) you'll only just be able to see it (half way between the 145 sign and the low trees on the left).

On the next image is a close-up of the emu in various stages of crossing.

This is the main Trans-Australian railway, running across the country from east to west. Despite the ambitious 145 speed limit on the signs I didn't see anything going faster than 50, about par for our antiquated rail system.

Hmm ipernity doesn't allow you to set the order of uploading photos? The other one is nearby.
