Erosion!

Erosion!
New wave-cut bench along the east shore of Washoe Lake, a result of high water levels and high winds this last season. The surf was cutting into stabilized sand dunes and vegetation cover that have been there for decades, so this hasn't happened in a while! The inset shows the wave incision a little farther along the shore. Looking south. Washoe Lake State Park, Nevada.
