Pine Creek
Another generic name-- This is the Pine Creek that's the main water source for Eagle Lake, northwest of Susanville, California. It's running much fuller than usual because of the good water year--in fact, it's normally close to a trickle by now. Note that the drainage is completely dry in the satellite view. The partly snowclad mountain on the skyline is Crater Mountain, which holds California's Crater Lake (shown in the center inset, on the mountain). The left inset shows the view directly across the creek, including the flooded meadow on the other side; the right inset shows the view downstream, where there's actually a current flowing.
