The Christmas tree in the window shows that this is a Christmas shot despite the warm weather dress. Quite a lot of the photos from this collection were taken in Florida or California. I think this is probably Florida as I seem to remember this woman in other Floridian photos.
Lots of neat toys displayed in the window, and some interesting board games as well.
From a packet of photos given to me by a library patron.

both skyrockets and rocket darts appear there - and of course the airplanes. i love the look on the woman's face. late 40's early 50's?

Wow, this is a treasure chest of interesting details. I think Florida is a good bet. The shadow on the left looks like the spikey trunk of a palm tree. A lot of aeronautical toys on display==model airplanes, boxes of balsa wood gliders, even model bi-planes hanging from the ceiling. I wonder why the photo on the wall is framed with a ribbon. Maybe the proprietor flew one like that in the war. It appears to be a P-38 Lightning fighter, the same as the suspended model at the far right of the photo. Fun photo!
