The Merry Game of Floundering

The Merry Game of Floundering
So happy to get this in the mail from eBay.uk! My family and friends used to love playing this game in England in the 1960s.We always called it "Flounders" though.
I remember that the pink stripe flounder was a favorite.
The rules are printed in the box lid (how smart is that?) and the language is pretty comical. (So mid-century, BBC, Listen With Mother-ish).
Too long to write it all out, but it begins:

THE MERRY GAME OF FLOUNDERING
Most of you have fished for Flounders with rod and line, now how about trying with dice?
It is a peculiar game because you seldom catch a whole flounder, but are liable to get it piece by piece.
Sometimes it so happens that you are lucky enough to "rob" your fellow angler of one of his "catch".
Shall we join in and see who can catch the largest number of complete Flounders? It's great fun and yet so simple.

Looks delightful. I was going to use that name as the title for my soon-to-be-written biography. Can't start until I get a new title. ;)

Yay, is this an original (vintage) item? Anything that says "Made in England" seems better, in my estimation.

Yes, it's original - vintage early 1960s.
I had the best time last night teaching and playing it with my grandsons! (Shepherd won!)
